Description

Hamamatsu’s Xenon flash lamps are more compact than continuous mode lamps and build up less heat. They provide a high-intensity continuous spectrum (from 160 nm to 7500 nm), from deep ultraviolet to ultraviolet to visible to infrared light which is used for a wide range of applications including chemical analysis and imaging.

Compared to halogen lamps and MEMS infrared light sources, xenon flash lamps generate less heat and emit light with an instantaneously high peak output, making them ideal for applications where high accuracy is required.

Available as lamps only or as lamp modules which integrate a xenon flash lamp with a power supply and trigger socket. Modules are designed to extract maximum performance from the lamp. Click on the relevant product below for details.
