Description

PMT modules consist of a photomultiplier tube to convert light into electrical signals, a high-voltage power supply circuit, and a voltage divider circuit to distribute the optimum voltage to each dynode. All components are assembled into a single compact case. Hamamatsu also provide modules with various additional functions such as signal processing, cooling, and circuitry to interface to a PC. Hamamatsu’s PMT Module family includes Current output type, Voltage output type, Photon counting head, NIR and application specific type. A range of peripheral equipment is available.
