Hamamatsu have released a new ultra compact high sensitivity spectrometer head for the ultraviolet region 190nm – 440 nm. The C16767MA-01 is a fingertip-sized spectrometer with high sensitivity suitable for integration in a variety of compact devices.

Weighing 5g and measuring 20.1 x 12.5 x 10.1 mm, the C16767MA-01 high sensitivity spectrometer has a spectral response in the region of 190nm to 440nm with a resolution of 5nm max. It has an electronic shutter function to support synchronized integration making it ideal for mobile measurement equipment.

The spectrometer comes with wavelength conversion factors which are listed on the final inspection sheet.

The C16767MA-01 is the latest product addition to the Hamamatsu family of fingertip sized ultra compact spectrometer heads comprising the C1767MA (8nm max. spectral resolution) and C12880MA (15nm max. spectral resolution). The C12880MA also features a hermetic package.
