Stantron is pleased to introduce the Beethoven MK 40 Exploder by Arbra.

The Beethoven MK 40 exploder by Arbra is a rechargeable battery exploder to fire electric detonators connected in series. It’s made of a high impact moulded case and uses sliding billet brass terminals. A separate charger and charging cable are included.

Operation

Connect the circuit to the brass terminals, ensure the terminals are screwed down tightly. Insert the key, turn clockwise and hold. If the key is released it will return to the vertical position allowing the exploder to be discharged safely internally. All battery condition LEDs will illuminate briefly. Status will be shown when one light remains lit. The yellow charging LED will illuminate followed by the green light. The exploder is now ready to fire. Whilst holding the key in position, press the red firing button. Once fired correctly the orange LED will illuminate. If the firing button is not pressed the green LED will remain on for approximately 30 seconds before discharging safely internally. If this occurs the red fault and orange fired lights will illuminate. Return the key to vertical position and re-start the charging process. Once firing is complete turn the key to vertical position and disconnect the wires from the terminals.

Charging the battery

To charge the battery connect the supplied charger to the USB-C connector, all battery condition LEDs will briefly illuminate followed by only one lit up showing the battery charged status as mentioned below. If the red fault LED is on, battery charging has been terminated. The exploder cannot be used whilst the battery is charging.
